PROJECT OVERVIEW
Originally purchased with the intention of renovating and then flipping the property, but after our daughter and son-in-law viewed it, they fell in love with the location and the good bones of this 1960s block attached to a freehold unit, and the rest is now history.
The brief was to fully renovate the interior spaces into a modern and timeless coastal retreat that was both relaxed and practical for family living. The unit was north-facing with a large flat back section, perfect for bringing up a family.
Changes included adding double glazing to the front South side, including a new front entrance door with a practical opening that enabled better access to the hallway and laundry. New paint, flooring, electrical fittings, converting the property to gas, new bathroom, toilet, and built-in laundry as well as new blinds and curtains. Other features included acoustic paneled feature walls, new appliances, stunning feature tiles, and landscaping the outdoor patio area to make use of the north-facing aspect and provide sustainable vegetables for the family.
